Tactical-grade gel blasters with 750-round hoppers and battery-powered semi-auto fire. Each blaster shoots water-gel pellets that burst on impact — you feel the hit, but there are no welts or bruises.
Safety Gear Included
Full-coverage protective face masks and safety glasses are included for every player. Our gel pellets are non-toxic, non-staining, water-hydrated, and shrink back to a tiny size before they disintegrate.
Trained Game Coordinators
A Wonderfly coordinator runs the entire experience. They handle setup, safety briefing, equipment fitting, refereeing, and full cleanup so you can be a guest at your own party.

We bring the Gel Blaster arena to your backyard!
Mobile Gel Blaster rental is exactly what it sounds like! We load up the gear, drive to your location, set up the inflatable battlefield, and run the whole event for you. You provide the players. We provide everything else.
Wonderfly Games operates throughout Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, southern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Most events take place in backyards, but we set up just as easily in parks, school fields, gyms, community centers, and corporate campuses. As long as you have a space roughly 30 feet by 30 feet (or larger for bigger groups), we can run a full gel tag battle there.

How Rentals Work
Arrival and Setup
Our game coordinators will deliver all game equipment to a your location of your choice. They will arrive 30 minutes early to start setting up. All games will be ready by your start time.
Safety Instructions & Gameplay
Our game coordinators will first make sure that all waivers are signed then they will go over game rules & safety instructions for the Bubble Balls. After that games begin! Our coordinators will ref each game to make sure that everyone is having fun & playing safe.
Clean Up
At the end of the rental our coordinators will clean everything up. This process will take about 30 minutes.

Gel blasters (also called gel tag guns) are battery-powered tactical blasters that fire small water-gel pellets — sometimes called gel beads, gellets, or orbeez ammo. The pellets are made of a non-toxic, biodegradable polymer that's soaked in water until it's about the size of a pea. When fired, the pellets travel about 200 feet per second and burst on impact, leaving a quick splash of water but no stain, mess, or cleanup.
If you've played paintball, gel blaster is the gentler, lower-impact cousin. Players still feel the hit, but there are no welts and no laundry disasters. If you've played laser tag, gel blaster adds a real physical sensation that laser tag can't replicate — you actually feel when you're hit. That tactile feedback is the reason gel tag has exploded in popularity since 2024.

Booking & Payment
We recommend booking your gel blaster party at least 2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend dates in spring and summer. Prime-time Saturdays in May and June book up first, so the earlier the better. That said, we do our best to accommodate short-notice requests when staff and equipment are available.

We'll confirm availability, send a quote, collect a deposit to lock in your date, and handle everything from there. You'll get a confirmation email with all event details and your coordinator's contact info before the event.
Yes. A small deposit holds your date and equipment. The remaining balance is due before the event. Specific deposit amounts are listed on your quote.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure online checkout. You can also pay by check if you prefer — just let your event planner know.
Our standard rental includes 1 hour of active gameplay, plus setup and breakdown handled by your coordinator. Most birthday parties book 1.5 to 2 hours of play to give the kids enough rounds to rotate through several game modes. You can add 30-minute time blocks at booking or on-site.

Wonderfly's gel blaster rentals are designed for players ages 10 and up. We've successfully run events for kids, teens, adult birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and corporate team-building events. If you have a mixed-age group, your coordinator can adjust game modes to keep it fun and safe for everyone.
Gel blasters have noticeably less impact than paintball or airsoft. Most players describe it as a sharp tap. We provide protective face masks for every player, and we recommend lightweight long sleeves and pants for closer-range play. With proper gear and our coordinator's safety briefing, the game is comfortable for ages 10 and up.
Yes. The water-gel pellets we use are non-toxic, non-staining, biodegradable, and water-hydrated. They're safe around pets, kids, plants, and indoor surfaces. The pellets shrink and disintegrate within minutes of bursting, leaving no cleanup behind.
For a standard 10-player setup with our inflatable barriers, plan on at least a 30 ft × 30 ft area. Larger groups need more room — we'll confirm your space requirements when you book. Backyards, parks, gyms, fields, parking lots, and community spaces all work great.
